ZVT technology goes to the NEXT LEVEL for all serious gold prospectors, providing substantially improved depth. No longer will you be limited to using either sine wave continuous VLF transmission detectors, that struggle in mineralised ground, or square wave PI transmission detectors, that can be insensitive to varying gold sizes and compositions.
ZVT (Zero Voltage Transmission) creates ultra‑constant high-power opposite polarity magnetic fields, increasing gold sensitivity. This innovative technology detects gold nuggets at extreme depths.
Super‑D The Super‑D smart coil consists of a central transmit winding and two outer receive windings. This configuration greatly decreases interference from magnetic soils, reducing ground noise.
GPSi uses a u‑blox GPS engine to integrate location and time data with detector settings. This creates WayPoint, FindPoint and GeoHunt files to use with XChange 2.
Wi‑Stream uses low-power digital audio transmission to achieve no perceivable audio time lag (<10 ms). This provides reliability and maximum sound quality.

I purchased a GPZ 7000 from Robsdetectors just after they were released, and I will say this detector has outperformed all previous Minelab detectors I have owned. The first hunt at a patch hit hard by other Minelab 3500, 4000, 4500 and 5000’s produced almost a 1/4 of an ounce using the GPZ. And since that first outing, the patches I hunt have produced nicely, paying for the GPZ in one year. Now its all profit.

What can I say, this is the Ferrari of metal detectors. If you’re serious and passionate about prospecting this is the detector to have. It will find gold others missed, particularly specimen and spongy gold. It acts like a super VLF detector but ground balances like no other. You’ll be amazed at the tiny but deep nuggets it will sniff out on old nugget patches that others have been hunting for years.
Get a GPZ 7000 or you’ll wondering forever what your GPX 5000 mighta missed..
Also customer service from Rob is as good as it gets. He is truly a nice guy and makes sure you have a positive experience purchasing your detector. He’ll ship it out fast and frequently follow up with a phone call. No doubt the 7000 is the Caddy of them all for finding gold. That said, knowing the machine well will add 50% to your finds. Rob not only provides a good price and great service but he is very helpful when you have questions on one that you bought from him. Again, I can get the product many places, but Rob goes that extra mile and that is worth everything to me.

This is surely the best detector I have ever used. I found over a pound of gold re-working old GPX patches within 3-4 months of weekend detecting. The depth and sensitivity of this detector is amazing. I never thought we would see anything that would really out perform the Minelab GPX 5000, but I was wrong!
